For young children, a few focused minutes can be easier to manage than one long practice session. Colored Letters therefore encourages short, regular practice. Around 5–15 minutes can be a practical starting point, but the length should always be adapted to the individual child.
The exact number of minutes is not the goal. What matters is that the child can remain involved, curious and focused.
Five positive minutes may be more useful than a long session after the child has lost concentration.
